BUSY BOOK ON DENTAL AND ORAL HEALTH MAINTENANCE KNOWLEDGE IN STUDENT CLASS 2

Abstrak

Background: Based on Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data in 2018 the prevalence of caries in Indonesia was 88.8% and according to riskesdas data for West Java province reached 45.6% Health promotion is a process of empowering or empowering the community to be able to maintain, improve, and protect his health. The health promotion effort is one form of learning. Busy book is an interactive learning media. Contains simple game activities that can stimulate children's fine motor skills. Objective: busy book on knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance in grade 2 children at SDN Singkup Tasikmalaya City. Methods: The type of research carried out was the Wilcoxon in 2nd grade children of SDN Singkup as many as 21 people. The measuring instrument in this study used a dental health questionnaire. Results: the criteria for children's knowledge after counseling using busy book were as follows: good criteria 8 students (38.1%) and sufficient criteria for 13 students (61.9%) and no criteria lacking (0%). Conclusion: media busy book on knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance in grade 2 children at SDN Singkup Tasikmalaya City.
